Happy Christmas Dot I've had a lovely day at our Anne & David's and the dinner was tremendous as always. Our Michael, Alison and Shannon were also there and Michael, David and myself went to the Dread for an hour before dinner and left the girls in peace haha. Our Mary and Kevin called over later and I have some lovely presents including gift vouchers, a jumper etc etc. I finished the day off by calling back at the Dread approx 8pm but could only force a couple of pints down as I had eat too much. The Dread was very busy mainly with the young ones which was surprising as I thought there would be no one in. Your Debra called yesterday to give me my present and I gave her a bag of goodies mainly drink, chocolates and crisps. She said she didn't want to see until today so I covered them up for her. She is looking more and more like you and it was lovely to see her. She said she had already called at Michael's and Alan's and I will catch up with them sometime next week. I have also had an email from Martin and he told me he may be getting a chance of early retirement if the package is good enough. I have bought some new decorations this year and our Mary and Anne both said they looked nice as well as the tree and the reindeers. Sunderland are third in the league and got to the quarter finals of the League cup only to be beaten 5-1 by Arsenal who are playing quite well at the moment. Newcastle are still struggling and will have to buy well in the transfer window to stop up. As you know it's a big day of racing tomorrow so I will have my feet up on the couch watching it and any tips and guidance will be greatly accepted haha. I'm not sure what I'll be doing for New Year but will probably just go to the Stags as I think they are trying to get an Elvis impersonator on. The government is making a statement this week about the covid restrictions so hopefully they don't lock us down again.
