Hello Pet We did your walk on Sunday 1st September from the Cross Keys this time, then down to the lines at Langley through the farm. We then headed back through Langley and along past the Station house and the Rec. We then headed up the bank to the farm near the Board Inn. As we got to the road we headed back on ourselves on the public footpath which fetched us out at the back of Ushaw College. By now everyone was spread out with us oldies at the back. We all then headed back along through the fields to Old Esh and sanctuary in the pub. You would have been so proud as there was 27 of us on the walk including your Michael with Patch, Debra, Alan, Debbie and her niece Erin and then about 20 of us stopped for lunch. Everyone said they had an excellent day and are looking forward to doing it again next year. I tried to thank everyone for their kindness, generosity and for being there but as always I got a bit emotional just because you weren't with us. The sponsor appeal on your tribute site has been a great success and we should easily raise at least £1,500 in total. I've added some photos for you to look at.
