Thank you very much to all the Strollers, to everyone who sponsored us, and to those who donated while we were on the walk. All the walkers had a great time and are all booked in for next year already. The weather was great as we walked around the beautiful city of Durham. The fancy dress walkers (and probably some of us other walkers haha) received some strange looks by some of the Durham residents but it was all good fun. The generosity of people for a good cause is tremendous and once again I would like to thank everyone involved. After the walk we went to the Boathouse Pub in Durham and raised a glass in memory of Dot as it would have been her birthday on the 12th September, we also sang happy birthday to her. Dot would be be over the moon and very proud that people are remembering her and donating to this great charity in her memory. At the moment we are still awaiting some donations but the total for this years walk will be in excess of £4,000.00. Thanks very much everyone and with all your help we will do it again next year.
